I get up early and go to the spa straight after breakfast. After all, we are having a day at sea. As I'm sitting in the hot tub, I suddenly spot an ice floe floating by.
Needless to say that I scramble to get dressed and go outside to see what's happening.
Our ship is slowly easing into Glacier Bay, as far in as they are allowed to go.
It is a very breathtaking journey, so very incredibly beautiful.
Just look at the reflections in the water.
Slowly, slowly, we turn and head out to go into the next bay where we get right up close to a glacier which calves several times during the hour we spend watching it.
It is quite cold and I'm just about frozen to the bones. What better way to get thawed out than to go back to the hot tub for a while.
I'm lucky enough to get a spot with the hairdresser who creates a pretty pile on my head for the formal dinner tonight.
