Having seen the coyote yesterday evening without being able to take a photo, I'm out very early this morning - just after five -, trying to get a glimpse of some wildlife.
I get very wet feet from the dew in the freshly mowed paddock and see countless big fat black slugs.
These two horses come out of their stable to greet me
and when I get back to the house, the male humming bird is at the feeder.
As I sneak up closer to get a better picture, it takes off and buzzes around me indignantly. Wow, what a big noise for such a tiny creature. Now I know how they got their name.
Not long after breakfast, we drive over to New Westminster where we board a paddle wheeler for a two and a half hour luncheon cruise on the Fraser River.
The weather is glorious, the food is sumptuous and the commentary is non-stop.
Another absolutely awesome experience.
For someone who has such a fascination with bridges, I'm certainly in the right place today.
Thank you Steve and Sue for another wonderful day.
